Person-centred counselling,
focused on you

I’m Lucy, a qualified person-centred counsellor based in Merseyside. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on for you, at your own pace. You’re welcome to take a look around my site to learn more about me and the counselling services I offer.

Person centred therapy (6)

Often when we get to a point of seeking counselling, it's because we're at a point where our minds feel overwhelmed and tangled, struggling to find clarity amidst the chaos.

I'm here to help untangle those thoughts, offering support and guidance as you navigate through life’s challenges and find a clearer path forward. I look forward to connecting with you.

A Safe and Supportive Space

What is counselling?

Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. Your counsellor will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.

A counsellor will not give you their opinions or advice or prescribe medication. They will help you find your own solutions – whether that’s making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with your problems.

Counselling to help you grow through what you go through

Areas of counselling I deal with

Grief and Loss
Grief can show up in many different ways, and it isn’t always tidy or predictable. I support people experiencing loss in its many forms, including bereavement, the end of a relationship, divorce, job loss, and the quieter, less recognised losses that come when life doesn’t turn out as expected. Grief is often misunderstood in Western culture, and I offer space for its messy, non-linear reality, allowing you to move at your own pace.
Relationship Counselling
I work with both individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties. This might include challenges around communication, boundaries, trust, people-pleasing, or navigating relationship breakdowns. Many people come to therapy wanting to better understand patterns in their relationships and find healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
Therapy for People Who Feel Different
Many of the people I work with feel like they don’t quite fit the expected mould. You might describe yourself as deeply feeling, neurodivergent, sensitive, or simply different in ways that can feel hard to name. I offer counselling that welcomes your individuality rather than trying to change it.

I regularly support clients navigating anxiety, ADHD burnout, low self-esteem, complicated relationships, and the pressure to meet expectations that don’t feel aligned with who they are.
Building a Life That Fits Who You Are
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, or something else entirely that's bringing you to therapy, my approach centers on helping you reconnect with your authentic self and build the life that actually fits who you are.
